Cascade People’s Center is hosting another in our monthly community resource series. Join us first Tuesday of each month from 12pm to 3pm to discover new resources in our community!
Tuesday October 6, our theme is community health. Outreach representatives from Public Health, Hepatitis Education Project, and community clinics from around Seattle will share information about their programs. We will also be distributing supplies for protection against flu.
From 5:30-7:00 we’ll feature groups who specialize in emergency preparedness and community safety. We’ve invited speakers from Block Watch, Dept. of Emergency Management, the Red Cross, and others.
These events (like everything else at Cascade People’s Center) are free and open to the public. This is a great resource–join us on Tuesday, October 3rd!
Every Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 volunteers prepare and serve a hot, nutiritious breakfast at Cascade People’s Center. All are welcome and there is no charge.
The last two Fridays of every month, join us for Stone Soup Lunch. Bring what you can and cook together with our community.
